Day 1 – Tuesday, March 26, 2019

Departure from USA for Amman, Jordan. Flights from DFW will depart in the late afternoon or early evening. Flight options are available from most other cities at the same or comparable prices. If you would like an extended layover in Europe, either before or after the tour. This can often be done for no additional airline cost. For most travelers, departure flights will be on Lufthansa via Frankfurt (subject to change).

Day 2 – Wednesday, March 27, 2019

Evening arrival at the modern Queen Alia Airport in Amman Jordan. You will be met at the airport by our representative who will assist you with passport control and luggage pickup. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Amman.

 Day 3 – Thursday, March 28, 2019

After breakfast, we will drive to Jerash, the site of the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa. After Jerash we will see the Jabock River, where Jacob wrestled with God. From there we continue to Madaba where we will see the famous Map of Madaba, which is the oldest existing map of Jerusalem, also including a map of the region dating from the 6th century and preserved in the floor of the Greek Orthodox Basilica of Saint George. We will visit Mt. Nebo mentioned in the Bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land. Dinner and overnight in Petra.

Day 4 – Friday, March 29, 2019

We will visit Petra, the Nabataean caravan-city, situated between the Red Sea and the Dead Sea, which was an important crossroads between Arabia, Egypt and Syria-Phoenicia. The dramatic rock-cut temple/tombs are approached via a natural winding rocky cleft (the Siq). After the visit to Petra, we will drive to Araba border control and enter Israel. Dinner and overnight in Eilat.


Day 5 – Saturday, March 30, 2019

Starting at Timna Park, set in a beautifully majestic desert setting, with an incredible history and geology. A life-size replica of the Biblical Tabernacle has been constructed in Timna Park.  Water flowing from the Ein Avdat in the heart of the Negev has cut a deep, narrow canyon through the soft white chalk. A waterfall tumbles from above and greenery flourishes around its pools where the ibex and other animals come to quench their thirst. Experience the unique feeling of floating on the water of the Dead SeaDinner and overnight at the Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is the lowest spot on earth.


Day 6 – Sunday, March 31, 2019

Starting the day in the desert, we will experience the wilderness like never before, coming to understand the Exodus experience and enjoying a time of group and personal worship. Then driving north to Ein Gedi Nature Reservea beautiful oasis in the heart of the Judean desert, rich with flora and fauna. This was the place David chose when seeking refuge from King Saul. Continue to Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. On our way to the Sea of Galilee, we will visit Jericho, the oldest city in the world and in the Text it is described as “City of Palm Trees”. Dinner and overnight at the Sea of Galilee.

Day 7 – Monday, April 1, 2019

What can be better than start the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee? Well, this is the way we begin the day and then we will visit Capernaum and the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount took place. Continue to Caesarea Philippi.  Last stop before going back to the hotel will be the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight at the Sea of Galilee.


Day 8 – Tuesday, April 2, 2019

We will journey southeast toward Megiddo, a city that was important in antiquity: it is mentioned in Egyptian writings and is forecast to be the site of Armageddon in the Christian Book of Revelation.   We will stop by an old tomb dating back to the first century and then continue to Mt. Carmel where Prophet Elijah defeated the prophets of Ba’al. Last stop will be Caesarea Maritima, the Roman city on the Mediterranean coast. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.


Day 9 – Wednesday, April 3, 2019

We will walk thru the Western Wall Tunnel that runs along the hidden continuation of the Western Wall. We will walk thru the Jewish quarter and see the Cardo, the main street during the Roman era.  We will visit the City of David and then The Southern Stairs which was the main entrance to the Temple during the Second Temple Period. In the afternoon, we will drive to Bethlehem where we will visit Shepherds’ field, the scene where the Angel of the Lord visited the shepherds and told them about Jesus’ birth then continue to the Church of Nativity. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

The Western Wall is the center of Jewish activity.

Day 10 – Thursday, April 4, 2019

We start our day at Mount of Olives with a stunning view over the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk the Palm Sunday Route down to the Garden of Gethsemane. At the bottom of the Mt of Olives is the Kidron Valley with three extraordinary tombs; among them the tomb of Absalom. Built on an almost sheer hillside, the Church of St Peter in Gallicantu stands on the eastern slope of Mount Zion. The scene of Peter’s disgrace was the courtyard of the high priest Caiaphas. We will walk along the Via Dolorosa ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Our day will end at Garden Tomb with time for worshipping and communion.

Having enjoyed a mountaintop experience at the Garden Tomb, we will transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure to the USA, taking home great memories of a Holy Land tour that will last a lifetime. For most passengers, travel will be on United Airlines through New York (subject to change).


Day 11 – Friday, April 5, 2019

Early morning transfer to Ben Gurion Airport. Departure to the USA, taking home great memories of a Holy Land tour that will last a lifetime.


Cost and Payment Schedule

  • Total cost is $3,850, which is all-inclusive except items of a personal nature and travel insurance. Payment is due in check or money order. Credit card payments require an additional 3% fee. Payment schedule:
    • Deposit: $300 (Deposit is due within 15 days of registration).
    • October 15: 1,000 payment due.
    • January 15: $1,250 payment due.
    • February 15: $1,300 payment due.
    • Payments are non-refundable after October 15, 2018. Travel protection is highly recommended.

Travel Protection

Travel protection is highly recommended. Travelers have the choice of purchasing coverage through DPH Travel, through their own agent or provider, or foregoing coverage. Cost of coverage in the Group Deluxe plan through DPH Travel is $242. For coverage of pre-existing conditions, the plan must be purchased within 15 days of your initial deposit. Coverage purchased after this time is valid except for pre-existing conditions.


A “Group Deluxe with Cancel for Any Reason” is available for those who would like reimbursements for non-covered reasons. Cancellation for a covered reason is reimbursed at 100%, and for a non-covered reason at 75%. All other coverages are the same as the Group Deluxe plan. Cost of the Cancel for Any Reason option is an additional $121 (total of $363).
